Genesis 2:18, NIV
The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Beloved,
If you find you are not getting as far as you should in life – not as far as you want to go, but as far as you know God has required of you; you may want to check for misalignment and lack of critical partnerships and agreement. As we said before, you were never called to walk this road alone. It’s not good for you. In fact it can be quite dangerous.
There are some partnerships you must get into and get right. The first and most important partnership you must have right is your relationship with God. 1 Corinthians 3:9 says,
“For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.”
1 Corinthians 3:9
We are called to partner with God in the enlargement of His kingdom. You must also be in the correct partnership with your spouse. It’s a dangerous thing to marry wrong or to marry right only to partner poorly with them. Honor your spouse and walk accordingly with God’s word concerning marriage because your marriage plays a critical role in you becoming and fulfilling all that God requires of you.
You must also walk in total agreement with the mandate of the church God has assigned for you. Being part of the wrong church or no church at all can land you into trouble. It’s not everyone who “walks together” that is truly together. So make sure that you are walking properly and in agreement with those you are called to be in partnership with. We will talk more about this tomorrow.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
