Psalms 84:1-2, NKJV
“How lovely is Your tabernacle, O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, yes, even faints For the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.”
Beloved,
I want to interrupt our current series to bring our attention to something that God has laid upon my heart. There are many people who are sad because they feel their prayers have gone unanswered and their voices unheard.
The truth is that God is omniscient and omnipresent. He always hears us. The better question is: do we hear him? One of the first things I want us to pay attention to, especially during those time where you feel you cannot hear God or feel His presence is how much time we have spent in His presence. Beloved, as much as you long for God, He longs for you even more. He desires your presence in His and He put systems in place to ensure He can enjoy your presence. Before we return to our “Understanding Destiny” series, I want us understand why it is important that you intentionally register your presence in His at least daily.
The first reason I want to share is that your presence registers you into the heart of God. Have you ever heard the term “out of sight, out of mind?” by default, when you see a person habitually, you will remember them and their case more easily.
Beloved, are you intentional about entering God’s presence- more intentional than you are about receiving good gifts from Him? We will look at more next time. Until then, I commend you to God and the Word of His Grace. I call you BLESSED and NATIONS.
I commend you to God and to the Word of His grace. I call you BLESSED and NATIONS.
