Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”
Like the nations of the world and the earthly kingdoms we see around, there is structure to the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom of heaven has the following:
King – The kingdom of heaven and of God has one King, Jesus (1 Timothy 6:18).
Domain – There is no restriction to the influence of the kingdom of God (Psalms 139:7-12).
Privilege – We enjoy immeasurable rights and privileges as citizens of the kingdom of God. The body of Christ has the same commonwealth (Philippians 3:20).
Language – Language is one of the key identifiers of culture. The language of the kingdom is truth. Not only that, we also speak the language of the Spirit of God called speaking in other tongues. Blessed is the believer who speaks the language of heaven.
Time – We recognize the value of time, and we endeavor to use this currency of the kingdom wisely (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
Law – There is a legitimate and acceptable way we run things in the kingdom. We are governed by our constitution which is the Word of God. We have our own culture, and we have principles, protocols, and procedures. There is also law enforcement to ensure compliance.
Currency – The currency of the kingdom is faith (Hebrews 11:6).
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
