Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Beloved,
As we conclude this series on God’s way of life, we will consider some more features of His way:
- His is a narrow path. The Bible says
Matthew 17:13-14 NKJV
[13] Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them of John the Baptist. [14] And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying,
Yes, God’s way is narrow, and it may feel difficult in the moment, but it is worth it. He will give you the grace to travel it if you ask Him; you only trust Him and obey His word. Follow His instructions and only take what you need for your journey. Lay every other baggage aside. Know that He is with you and that your victory is sure. Just stay on your God ordained path.
- His way leads to upward movement. His way takes you higher. Keep this in mind on your journey. All He desires is to enjoy the one He made in His own likeness and image. God loves you too much to cheat you. Don’t relegate the power of process. Though the journey is long, know He is with you and just keep going. Let Him guide you and take you higher.
Proverbs 15:24 NKJV
The way of life winds upward for the wise, That he may turn away from hell below.
Which way will you choose to go? Is it worth it?
