Isaiah 52:2
“Rise from the dust, O Jerusalem. Sit in a place of honor. Remove the chains of slavery from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.”
Beloved,
As we touched on yesterday, some people live as if their past is as real as their future. Again I say, lift up
your head and move on with your life! It does not matter the direction God has called you to if you will not
take the proper steps towards it.
For anything to operate on the earth, it must have a body. Bodies are necessary for operating here on
earth. The scripture above states how the body should be useful for every believer. You should use
every part of your being for the glory of God. He gave you your body for His purpose.
But beware, your body comes with so many restrictions. Sadly, people have become slaves to their
limited flesh so much that they don’t even realize that their attitude towards their flesh leads to fleshly
habits that render them virtually useless regarding spiritual affairs. If you’ve followed me long
enough, you know how I emphasize that the spiritual world makes things happen naturally, and not the other way around. Today, I encourage you to move past your flesh and all its limits. It will already
only get you so far in life and no further. You will be living in chains and not even realize it.
The plan of God has always been for man to live as a spiritual being learning human experience and not
as a human being learning spiritual experience. God never planned for us to have bodies that eventually
lead to death; sin limited us in this way. Let your goal be to live a life without restrictions. Your spirit is
dead as long as sin is present in your life. It’s limited as long as your mind is limited to the life it had when
sin was involved. I implore you once more, unchain your brain!
