DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

John 18:37 NKJV
Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

Beloved,

You must have a sense of purpose, something ordained by God for you to accomplish on this earth. At some point in time, the reason for your living (destiny) will beckon to you. Events of destiny are things that must happen until you get your destiny right. They are happenings that will culminate in the fulfilment of your destiny. Beloved, your life will start to make sense when you start defining and interpreting events from the standpoint of destiny. If you understand events, you will not turn your bus stop to your destination.

Paul speaking in Acts 20:24 TLB says:

Acts 20:24 TLB
But life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about God’s mighty kindness and love.

You will start living when you understand what is worth living for. God designed your destiny, but you have to discover it.

A man’s purpose or goal in life will determine whether he is right or wrong in a given situation. The outfit you wear to a formal event is not the same as what you will wear to the gym because of your understanding of purpose. The question though is:  what parameters are you using to define the rightness or wrongness of a thing?

I Corinthians 6:12 NKJV
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

The first test of maturity will be knowing the difference between what is good and what is bad. But as you mature even more, the test you will often be confronted with is knowing the difference between what is good and what is right. The decision to do what is right typically comes from the revelation of your eternal purpose.

I commend you to God and to the Word of His grace. I call you BLESSED and NATIONS.
