2 Chronicles 20:22
Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.
Beloved,
When we come to worship, we must realize that God is already waiting for us. If we don’t come to worship, understand that we are depriving God of what He wants and that shouldn’t be. Worship is between God and man; God is always demanding it and he is always ready for it, and we must always be ready for it also.
What does worship represent exactly?
It is a means through which mortal men fellowship with God who is immortal. When we come to worship God, we must understand our limitations, our mortality; this will guide us and help us see God in his immortality. This will help us carry ourselves well in his presence and worship meaningfully. The same way we would treat an older friend with respect, we don’t do anyhow in God’s presence. We come in reverence of His majesty and His glory; we acknowledge that He is God and Lord of all.
Worshipping is a way to cultivate the right atmosphere for God and for the Spirit of God for divine workings. You are expecting something, and it is not coming yet, you can start by cultivating the right atmosphere that will bring that thing to you. As you begin to worship, there is a transfer, a download, that will release that which you’re waiting for.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
