DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Luke 21:36 KJV
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Beloved,
As we conclude this series about anti-destiny lingering attachments, let us consider one more way to be free of these attachments and enjoy lasting deliverance.

Pray! The simplest and most powerful solution to any problem: prayer. The Bible says,

Psalm 116:4 TPT
I cried out to the Lord, “God, come and save me!”

It is only those who hunger and thirst that can be filled. Now with a desire for God’s help, you must learn to convert your perceived lack into a drive to pray.

Tremendous power is released when a Christian prays. The earnest prayer of the righteous avails much, James 5:16. The Passion Translation put it this way:

James 5:16 TPT
… for tremendous power is released through the passionate, heartfelt prayer of a godly believer!

Aside from the role of prayer in initiating the manifestation of your freedom from things that held you down in your past, it is also a mandate that ensures that you remain immune to future efforts of the devil to pull you back into what you have been delivered from. Remember, you can not pray too much.

As we are conclude this series, let us run understanding these two main points: Always remember that God leads us today from His knowledge of our future into our tomorrow. Thus, we can never be led astray. The devil knows the only way to stop the fulfillment of God’s commitment: “I will never leave you nor forsake you”, in a believer’s life is to let him make a choice to go on his way. Then, God will be left with the choice of His words: “LEAVE HIM”, Hosea 4:17, BSB. Commitment to God’s will maintains His commitment to you, so be careful of the blessing you enjoy in disobedience. Everyone is walking or running towards something; spiritual intelligence demands that you ensure that you run to the right thing that leads to life.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
