What You Need in Life (IV): You Need Power

Acts 1:8 

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

Beloved,

It is one thing to have the fullness of the Holy Ghost, but you also need His power in your life. You need the power of the Holy Ghost to heal, to cast out demons, to rebuke the assault of the devil; you need power to bring in the forces of heaven to help you.

If you don’t have that power, people will not respect your God. The Bible says “for Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory…”. The connection between the kingdom and the glory is the power of God. You need that power to be active in your life like never before. Jesus before ascending told His disciples to wait to ensure they get that power before moving on with their lives’ assignment.

You need that power of God to fulfil your destiny in life because there is a devil out there that wants to keep you muted so you are powerless to do something about your destiny. The devil wants you to live generally and die like that. You need the power of the Holy Ghost to work in you, both to will and to do of God’s good pleasure. You need that power to work in you exceedingly, abundantly, above all you can ask or think.

Beloved, a time must come in your life where you are tired of talking about the goodness of God with nothing to back it up in your life. You need the power of God in your business. You need the power of God in your academics. You need that power to do what you have come to do under the sun, the Bible calls them good works which He had prepared ahead of time for us to walk in. You need power.
