Mark 12:34 NKJV
Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.”
Beloved,
As we grow up in life, we must not just be working, we must be working smart. And one way to do this is to start asking for the exact requirements or deliverables. You must know the exact thing your spouse, your superior and everyone around you want so that you might work to their satisfaction and not just to yours.
For instance, when I teach on honor, I emphasize that both spouses must honor to each other and to be able to effectively do this, they must find out what acts translate into honor for each individual. This is also applicable to dealing with your superior.
Today, I will like to point your attention to one major requirement that is well sought by every superior from their subordinates, and that is the ABILITY TO SPEAK WISELY.
The scripture above stated that Jesus saw that he answered wisely. Even though the teacher of the law knew the answer, he did not just talk anyhow. He answered wisely.
There comes a time when life will not give you a chance just because of what you know but because of how you go about what you know.
Think about it this way: most people can cook rice, but it is not every rice that is worth going to the restaurant to eat. It is those that are cooked and presented wisely that is worth that much.
You want to win the favor of your superior? Learn to use words wisely. When Jesus perceived that from that man, Jesus said he was not far from the kingdom. When you learn to speak wisely, you are not far from promotion, favor, access to restricted places of the earth.
This is your best week ever.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
