Never stop praying.
Beloved,
As a believer, you cannot do without praying. You just can’t. Prayer is not something you only do if you happen to have some extra time on your hand. It is something you deliberately create time for. People that pray are not those who have time, they are those who create time for it. Also, people that pray are not those who have problems, they are those who love God and those who want to have a say over matters. People that pray are lovers of God and rulers in life.
The tragedy of this generation is that what fathers of faith got on their knees, we want to get with our brain. We spend more time strategically planning than praying, an endeavor that cannot produce any lasting result. You also cannot maintain with your brain what you got on your knees. Hence, prayer must be a lifestyle.
When the devil wants to get a man, the first thing he does is keep him from praying. If the devil can stop a person from praying, he has already gotten hold of him to a large extent. No matter what happens, don’t stop praying.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
