I Peter 1:3-5 NKJV
[3] Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [4] to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, [5] who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Beloved,
God is doing a new thing. We can depend on Him to finish whatever He starts. If we will have and maintain a relevant role in His program, we must know and fulfill our responsibility, which starts with seeing what He is doing (Isaiah 43:19). We must live in accordance with the new program that has started under a continuation of His glorious master plan.
The salvation of humanity was in plan long before Adam took His first steps upon the earth. When God called Peter to spearhead His church, it was in continuation of His redemption plan for mankind. Same as when God called Paul to minister to Gentiles.
Beloved, God is calling you, too! It is up to you to know His purpose and plan for your life, especially as it pertains to the redemption of mankind. It’s not up to only pastors and others who are called to serve in the five fold ministerial offices. Whether you are called to serve in such a way or called to support a ministry, or your post is in the marketplace, know that none is superior or inferior; all are relevant to the program of God. No matter the ministry or position in ministry you have been called to, it is time to take your place!
Sometimes, God calls a man to continue a move that is ending. In the program of God, it is not every move of God that is generational. For example, Samuel continued what ended with Eli, David continued what God ended with Saul. What God ended with Elijah, Elisha continued. Joshua continued what ended with Moses. Don’t hold back when God is moving you into positions. Don’t be sentimental, trust God and His program and the place He made especially for you. We will pick it up from here next time.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
