John 4:23
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
Beloved,
You must understand that you cannot relate with God or know Him on your terms. Some people declare that they serve God in their own way; it sounds logical, but it is not acceptable.
Acceptable worship is predicated on the knowledge we have about the God we worship. You must have the correct knowledge of God and let God introduce Himself to you by His word.
You must have this following knowledge about God:
- He is Holy, 2 Chronicles 20:21.
- He is a rewarder, Hebrews 11:6.
- He is a merciful and a just God, Luke 6:36 (AMP), Isaiah 30:18.
- He is a good and a Holy God, Acts 17:30, Psalm 99:9.
- While He is a loving God, He is also a consuming fire, John 3:16, Hebrews 12:28-29.
- He is a jealous God, Exodus 34:14.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
