2 Chronicles 15:15, GNT
All the people of Judah were happy because they had made this covenant with all their heart. They took delight in worshiping the Lord, and he accepted them and gave them peace on every side.
Beloved,
Acceptable worship is predicated on the love of God. The protocol for God to accept your worship is that He first accepts you. We saw this established in the life of Abel, the Bible says God accepted Abel and He accepted his worship, but He rejected Cain first before rejecting his worship.
God loves everyone equally. The love of God for us cannot be improved upon because the Bible says He has loved us with an everlasting love. How this love is activated in the lives of individuals is what makes the difference. What also makes a huge difference is how we love Him back, which is different from person to person. Consequently, the commitment of God towards us cannot be compared because He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
Therefore beloved, it is important to know that our worship will be acceptable on the platform of our love for Him, not His love for us. In the next few days, we will examine a practical example of this from scriptures.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
