Luke 7:37-38
And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.
Beloved,
What is your level of love for God, I will see it in how much sacrifice you can make for his glory. I will see this by how freely you are able to give to God that which you consider to be quite expensive to you.
Also, how committed are you to what God is doing in your days? How committed are you in the faithful discharge of your duty to ensure that the gospel is preached to the unsaved? This is how to love Him back. And it is in our love for Him that he feels our worship. It is at that moment that you can come before the Father and He can say that what you do not ask for, I will give it to you.
Decide to do something that will touch the heart of the Father. When loving God becomes your focus, everything around you will change. When loving God becomes your focus, no one will need to compel you or force you to do anything for God, it will come from a willing heart.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
