Exodus 3:3
Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight…why the bush does not burn.”
Beloved,
Something happened when we gave our lives to Jesus. Our spirit man, which was dead before, was made alive again! One benefit we received from our salvation process is that we now have direct access to God, through Christ Jesus, the Son. As we allow God, the Holy Spirit, to sustain us, our spirit-man becomes eligible for upgrade. This upgrade enables us to receive instructions from God and to reason along with Him.
One of the ways God communicates with our spirit-man is by sending us a signal. Moses saw the flame of fire amidst the bush that miraculously refused to burn. For Peter, Jesus performed the miracle of fish as a signal to catch his attention. For Paul, he saw a great light. The list continues. God has an endless supply of signals that’s He has made available to us— either to call us up to a higher walk with Him or to communicate a deeper destiny to us. This signal could also mean to give us a heads up per what the devil intends to do. Such was His communication to Cain per the sin that was after him (Genesis 4:7). Whichever kind of signal it is, God expects us to respond to it. The divine responsibility of the signal is to draw your attention to God’s desire to communicate to you. It is then your responsibility to respond correctly.
