Romans 10:17
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Beloved,
Listen! Many times we want to blame God for what we think He did not do or tell us about. “But God, I’ve been praying. Why aren’t you hearing me?!” Could it be that when you are praying you are not taking the time to listen? Prayer is two-way communication. It’s good that you take your time to lay your problems, thoughts, requests at the altar. But it’s a waste of time and a total disregard for the genuine relationship God desires to have with us if we are not intentional about hearing His response. If you don’t take time to hear Him, it’s only a matter of time before your faith weakens. Especially in these last days. Won’t you take the time to hear what God is saying concerning His people? What he is saying concerning you? Increase your expectations and eagerly wait and anticipate hearing what the Lord says.
