John 8:47
“Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”
Isaiah 30:21
And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.
Beloved,
God will never hold you accountable for not doing what He never told you to do. You’re not responsible for anything He has not spoken or for not following instructions He has not issued. But if you are of God, when He has spoken, be sure you hear Him at least twice like King David (Psalm 62:11). For you are surely accountable for following through with everything He has said concerning you.
Make sure you hear everything God says to you and about you. Think of it like this: If you are living in the United States of America, laws exist that can and will be enforced. The government communicates the laws in their constitution, on applicable government websites and so on. You are responsible to know what demands or expectations exist at city, state and federal levels and must govern yourselves accordingly. That you never heard about a law before will not absolve you of being accountable for it. Why? Because it had already been spoken. It is your job to ensure you heard about it.
So it is in the Kingdom. You must be intentional about hearing God if you are a child of His. If He said it, He expects you to take heed.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
