For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Beloved,
The grace of God serves as an invitation to which you must respond by faith. Since God’s provisions have already been prepared since before the foundations of the earth were laid, all you need is faith to enjoy what God has in store for you. However, there can be no faith without works, and this is why we are continuing to study scripturally-backed steps to take when you determine you have an anti-destiny attachments in your life. Let us look at some more steps we need to take to get rid of such attachments.
- Deliver yourself from the factors that make you go back to what God had delivered you from. These factors include
– Lust of the eyes.
– Hardness of heart (through continual disobedience that renders people incapable of sensing the impulses of the spirit).
– Demonic attack.
All of these must be properly dealt with spiritually. Though taking decisions is powerful, willpower is not enough when you are dealing with spiritual strongholds. Therefore, seek spiritual help for deliverance. - Acknowledge the attracting link between you and what God is delivering you from. What is that thing that keeps pulling you back? What site do you visit or who do you talk to and before you know it, you are back in sin? Whatever takes you back to a place of sin is an attracting link you must recognize. Put a system in place to cut off from it, and set a boundary to protect you from it. Be accountable to someone more spiritually mature than you and in a position of leadership over your life and destiny. Be diligent to cut off the source through which sin can enter into your life, and set up systems that keep the devil out permanently.
