Isaiah 40:31 NKJV
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
Beloved,
As the scripture above says, it is only those wait on God that will gain new strength and then be able to perform extraordinary feats. Happy are those who recharge for they will be in charge in difficult times! Today, I will be providing some pointers on who must recharge and when and how to go about it.
Who must recharge?
– People who are willing and desperate to go back to give it another shot and to continue.
– People who do not like to be stranded or use their lifetime to fix problems.
– People whose future are before them, 1 Kings 19:5-8. When you recharge, the vision of the future becomes clear again. This point alone is sufficient to show that every believer needs a regular recharge.
When is it pertinent to recharge?
– When you have supposedly failed, 1 Chronicles 13:12. This is a time to ask critical questions: what did you get wrong and how can you fix it?
– You need to recharge when you are running out of resources, Psalm 34:10.
– You need to recharge when you run out of options, Luke 15:14.
How do you recharge?
Don’t till your tank is empty before you go for recharge. That is rather late. In fact, to recharge properly, you need to be like the wise virgins and always carry extra. And when you notice you are running low, go to those who sell, Matthew 25:1-9. It is also important to come before God with a hunger and a thirst that can only be satisfied by Him. It is only the hungry that have a right to be filled.
Beloved, recognize when you are almost at your breaking point and retreat to gain new strength. You may need to go away to a place by yourself. You may need to take time off work. You may need to shut down your phone. Whatever it takes, make sure your strength is renewed.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
