That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Beloved,
In continuation of our series on the power a resurrected spirit possesses, let’s look at one more thing that salvation makes available to us:
- A born again spirit receives inspiration (for creativity and witty inventions) from the Holy Spirit. Thus, it becomes a vital force with which you can run your life on, Job 32:8 (AMPC). Wisdom, knowledge that powers witty inventions, excellence, understanding, ability to rightly interpret God’s communication in times and seasons, and many more abilities are available to a man who has been saved, Daniel 5:11–12.
Access to the power of a born again spirit without an understanding of how to utilize it is synonymous to having the latest car model without knowing how to drive. It is not ideal to be unable to maximize so great a wealth, Galatians 4:1-7 (MSG). Therefore, let’s gain some understanding of what to do to harness the power of a born again spirit.
After you give your life to Christ, it is important that you feed your spirit. Just like nothing grows to its full capacity without being nourished, you must feed your spirit. The Bible says
Galatians 6:8 NKJV
For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
You need to feed your spirit and starve, in fact kill, your flesh. How do you do this? Here are some simple things to do:
- Read the word.
- Listen to words (messages) that empower your spirit.
- Pray.
