DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

Beloved,
There are some things God has done, some things He is currently doing, and some things He will do. At every point in time, God is calling on men to partner with Him. I want to ask you again, just as I asked before, will you miss what God is doing or are you ready to become part of His bigger, more glorious picture?

To understand the import of this question, take a look at the structure of your body – your fingers are relevant because they are joined to something bigger than them: your arm. Your relevance will be found in your partnership with the program of God on the earth.

Regardless of what your present circumstance may appear to be, remember that such circumstances are temporary. Things can and will change. The more you align with the purposes of God, the more things change for the better for you. Let’s look at some more ways you can become part of His big picture. The first step, as we have already discussed is by hearing and seeing. Such increases your faith and grants you the ability and confidence you will need to partake.

Another step you must be intentional about is respecting the small things of life. Mark 4:30-32 says this:

‭‭Mark‬ ‭4:30‭-‬32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
[30] Then He said, “To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it?  [31] It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth;  [32] but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.”

It can be easy to despise something as small as a seed. But the wise know better. The wise know that small things, like seeds, must be sown. When you sow your seed, it will grow and in time, it will become what it was meant to be and eventually it will bear fruit. The same can happen for you, but it is a process. Before you can go through these processes, you must first respect the small things of life. We will talk of a few more next time.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
