Isaiah 43:19 NKJV
Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
Beloved,
God is doing a new thing. Will you miss it or will you become a part of His bigger, more glorious picture? We began talking about “seeing” power. I want to share with us an example of a man who had such. Let’s look at the Gospel of Luke:
Luke 2:25 NKJV
And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
Simeon was a man who enjoyed seeing power and as we learn from scripture, he eventually became a marked example of what a person of faith looks like, what he is qualified for, and what he is able to accomplish as a result of his response to seeing. He is established as a notable figure in the story of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He avoided distractions and served diligently in the house of God. He was divinely exempted from many of the cares and affairs of life during his tenure on the earth all because of what he saw.
I pray this message encourages you to take the word of God seriously. I pray you become so sensitive to the word of God that it enables you to see what God wants to do with and through you as it pertains to His greater plan. When this happens, the cares of this life won’t be able to distract you. Like Simeon and other men of faith, you will enjoy “staying” power because you will be able to see what is ahead and what matters most.
Beloved, may you hear God’s word so well that you begin to see it, in Jesus’ name. May the divine revelation of what God reveals to you directly and through His word and His servants enable you to stand firmly upon His great and precious promises. May God give you all that it takes to become part of His move on the earth and may you have the vision and the wisdom for that future, in Jesus’ precious name.
I commit you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
