Genesis 1:1-3
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Beloved,
In verses above, we find the law of light at work in the creation of the earth. The correct order is first God, then light. The primary light you must have is the Holy Ghost on your inside and this must be your source of confidence. If you don’t have this light and your spirit man is weak, you will he stranded in life. As you go through the year 2023, never compare yourself with unbelievers or even believers that are not taking their walk with God seriously. You must regularly consult the Holy Spirit for guidance and direction in life.
Beloved, you must also trust God for the supply of great lights to rule the day and lesser light to rule the night. What this means is that you must have a great vision that is overarching your life and you must have smaller visions and goals that are practicable and achievable. You need these lights to rule your day and your night, therefore endeavor to put such systems in place. What structures are running your life by day and by night.
According to Psalm 119:105, trust God to give you light for your feet which represent your immediate surrounding, and your path which represents your future and long-term plans.
Trust God also for the supply of internal light – illumination and insight to uncover the treasures in hidden places of the earth; and the supply of external light – external information gathered together to become your wisdom. This is because some things will be communicated to you directly while for other things, someone must be your eyes and feet before you can access them.
