Proverbs 14:12 NKJV
There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
Beloved,
Yesterday we started to look into how we can avoid the fall of destiny. I explained that the interactions Eve had with the devil made her to divulge God’s instructions to him. This was what the devil was after. Knowing what God had said made it easy to sow the seed of doubt in Eve, who later began to question why God will withhold certain things from them.
Any time you hear questions that keep probing God’s instructions to you. What the person asking the questions is after is your innocence. These sort of questions are asked in such a way as to make you think you are doing too much or going too far. Questions such as: Must you go to church every week? Do you really think sex outside of marriage is bad? What is wrong with smoking or trying out drugs? These questions are asked to get you to choose to give up your innocence. They want to corrupt your innocence.
God does not try to to say things, neither does he suggest or give opinions. Whatever He says over a matter stands. So to question that which the Lord has spoken must never be an act we engage in. And if you notice people around you constantly questioning God’s instructions to you, know that it is the serpent speaking through them.
Beloved, avoid things and people that will question and make you question your loyalty to God. When you begin to question your loyalty to God’s or your superiors instructions, a fall from grace to grass is inevitable. Don’t allow the wrong people to influence you.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
