Proverbs 14:12 NKJV
There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
Beloved,
We have been looking into how we can avoid the fall of destiny and one major highlight is that you have to protect your innocence. As you grow in life, know where you are receiving your instructions and validity from. Don’t disobey your instructions because someone tells you it is not worth it to obey. The devil shouldn’t be permitted to edit or rephrase God’s instructions to you. Neither should you allow people to do that.
The effect of disobedience to God’s instruction concerning the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was that after the fruit was eaten, man now has the knowledge of good and evil. The devil hypes and exaggerates the good and downplays the evil. But that doesn’t eliminate the evil. God knows there is evil in some places and in some things, and He doesn’t want you to know about it. He wants you to be innocent of it because He knows that when you go after such things, you will be open to information that is toxic to your life, which will eventually lead to death.
It is okay to not know some things and to not do some things. Don’t be enticed by the lifestyle some people are adopting out there. There is a way that seems right to a man, but it is the way of death.
Protect your innocence. There are certain things you don’t want to get yourself involved in. Once you open yourself to that dimension, it will be extremely difficult to get out of it. Sometimes, it takes only one exposure to trap a man in a lifestyle of sin and retrogression.
Remember it is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. There is little or nothing to be gained from the knowledge of evil things. May your conscience be sensitive to know when you are slipping away from the protection of your innocence.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
