DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Proverbs 4:18 NKJV
But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

Beloved,
You cannot know if something is growing or improving if there is no reference point. The plan of God for our lives is that there should be improvement in every aspect of our lives. He doesn’t want what we have to remain at the same level. The least that God wants you to have in life is additions. In fact, there is provision for multiplication and exponential growth and that is what you should aim for. Believers who plateau at a level are those who are complacent about life. If as a believer, you are not challenged to keep going forward, death is around the corner.

In the parable of the talents, we see that God gave each servant talents, according to what he could handle, Matthew 25:14-30. Notice that the servants had no control over what they were assigned. Even so in life, you don’t really have control over what gifts and abilities God gives you. What you have control over is what you make out of what you’ve been given. You must first identify what you have and then determine how to make the most of it.

Anyone who says he doesn’t have anything thinks so because he has no respect for small things of life. At his lowest point, a man will have at least time and his mouth. If he uses these two well and profit with them, he will have more in no time. The Bible says,

Proverbs 18:20 NKJV
A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled.

When it seems like there is nothing, you have God’s promises to you; start calling those things that be not as though the are, Romans 4:17.

Beloved, know that you can have more results with what you have. You can have more of the kind that you already have and you can also have what you did not have. Start doing business and profiting with what you have and see the Lord commit more unto your care.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
