Ephesians 4:7-8 NKJV
[7] But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. [8] Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.”
Beloved,
Everything you have, you were given. The Bible says,
John 3:27 NKJV
John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.
Every gift comes with the expectation that the receiver profits with it. The devil whose whole deal is to steal, kill, and destroy will try pervert gifts or keep them dormant or underutilized. But every believer owes it to the Giver to ensure that gifts are well utilized.
It is easy to sometimes slip into thinking you have nothing significant, or you don’t enough. I want to remind you of some gifts the lord has generously given you. Some of the gifts God has freely given to believers include:
- The gift of Jesus, John 3:16.
- The gift of eternal life, Romans 6:23.
- The gift of His love. This overlooks your limitations and shortcomings; it brings His mercy and compassion. It is God’s love that makes you keep returning to God.
- The gift of His Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12:9.
- The gift of grace, Ephesians 3:7. A person becomes according to the gift of grace by the working of God’s divine power. Anytime you have tried and tried, and your effort is not producing desired results, switch to grace, James 4:5.
- The gift of ministry, 2 Timothy 1:5-7. This is the ability to team up with God to get things done on earth.
- The gift of wisdom, Proverbs 2:6 TPT.
- The gift of men, Philippians 1:3-4. Don’t exploit people, treat men as the gifts that they are.
What must you do with the gift you have received? - Cherish, protect, respect, enjoy, and guard it.
- Do business with it.
- Be set apart for it.
- Understand the laws that govern its use.
- Deploy your gifts, 1 Peter 1:10.
- Profit with your gift.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
