Acts 20:24
“But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the task that the Lord Jesus has given me to accomplish.”
Beloved,
Once you have met with God or the one He has sent to confirm you are doing the right assignment, do it! Once you have started doing it, praise God! The next step is to evaluate and ensure you are accomplishing it in accordance with the instructions He or His sent has given you and that you are doing it with your whole heart. God is a God of standard. Ensure you do all of your assignment to His glory. He deserves it after all.
…And once you have assessed that you are doing the right work, with the right mindset and a sincere and willing heart, don’t quit! If God gives you an appointment, keep it! Don’t become lackadaisical about it. Why?
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
God is a rewarder, indeed. Like any good father, He loves giving good gifts to His children, especially when they have done what pleases Him. Carrying out His instructions with a sincere heart of gratitude, allegiance and worship brings Him glory. As you whole heartedly serve Him, you are keeping yourself safe. Not only that, but you are also qualifying yourself to become and remain His permanent dwelling place. As He dwells and abides in you and you in Him, there is a way He can flow through and join you in getting things done on the earth. As you are serving Him and partnering with Him to get things done on the earth, don’t stop! Keep going and maintain the grace He has given you and the glory He has prepared ahead of time that is waiting for you. The quality and consistency you give in your place of assignment prepares you for destiny and calling.
1 Corinthians 15:58
“Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”
When it comes to fulfilling God’s instructions for your life, do not take it lightly. Do it with your whole heart and be expectant.
