Ecclesiastes 4:13–16NKJV
13 Better a poor and wise youth
Than an old and foolish king who will be admonished no more.
14 For he comes out of prison to be king,
Although he was born poor in his kingdom.
15 I saw all the living who walk under the sun;
They were with the second youth who stands in his place.
16 There was no end of all the people over whom he was made king;
Yet those who come afterward will not rejoice in him.
Surely this also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
Beloved,
Nothing changes until the pains of remaining the same outweighs the pain that comes with change. This is the mindset transformed people have. If your lack of transformation is not causing you enough pain, you will not pay the price to be transformed. You must become uncomfortable with your present situation! You must feel the pain! That is what will cause you to cry out for transformation and say, “I’ve got to be transformed. If I perish while doing so, I perish!”
The problem of many believers is not an unsaved soul, it is an untransformed life. We have also realized that when we talk of non-transformation, we mean an untransformed spirit, untransformed soul, and untransformed body. This must not be our case. Christianity is not Christianity until it can transform your spirit, soul, body and world. Remember that the gospel remains the power of God unto salvation. If truly you have been transformed, you will transform your world.
