Ecclesiastes 4:13–16NKJV
13 Better a poor and wise youth
Than an old and foolish king who will be admonished no more.
14 For he comes out of prison to be king,
Although he was born poor in his kingdom.
15 I saw all the living who walk under the sun;
They were with the second youth who stands in his place.
16 There was no end of all the people over whom he was made king;
Yet those who come afterward will not rejoice in him.
Surely this also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
Beloved,
The above passage tells the story of a young man who was imprisoned. At an early stage of his life, he found himself in prison, but this young man refused to accept that as the conclusion of his story.
What did he do? He picked up himself and took steps of faith – he began to develop himself in such a manner that he did not only leave the prison but also became a king! Beloved, if you can accept the reality of transformation, you will understand the fact that God will always help you. He will show up!
Regardless of where you are, ensure that others do not define you by your weaknesses or your failures. Where you are going to is very much different from where you are now. Your destination is different from your current position so, do not let anyone define you by your present position with its attendant limitations.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
