1 Thessalonians 3:10
Night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face and perfect what is lacking in your faith?
The subject of faith gets many believers confused because they cannot understand why they will claim to be a believer yet, it seems like they do not have faith. Faith is one of the simplest subjects of the kingdom, yet it seems complicated to some believers because they were wrongly introduced to the subject.
In the next few days, we will be examining some things that need to be upgraded for their faith to be able to produce the kind of result they need—I call them ‘Faith Additives’.
Today we will consider work as an additive to faith. James 2:14 till the end explains the importance of adding work to faith. This is not just doing any kind of work so as to be considered a hardworking person; it involves inquiring from the Father the exact work that is needed for a desired result.
The work that must be added to our faith ranges (depending on the kind of result you want) from confession of God’s word to training in the direction of the future you believe the Lord for, to searching for information as it lines up with the desired result. Above all, inquire from the Lord the specific action and step of faith needed to prime, activate or catalyze the faith process.
Don’t forget, faith without work will first frustrate you before leading to death. So, I admonish you. It is not just important you pray; an evidence of answered prayer is God supplying the instruction that births practical steps required to be taken.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
