Isaiah 40:31 NLT
But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
Beloved,
Chickens flock; eagles soar. Are you a chicken or an eagle? Are you chicken-hearted or eagle-hearted? To flock means you are among others, trying to find your place among all the distractions that exists on the ground. Have you been able to avoid the distractions that are inevitable for those who remain on the ground?
When going on a long journey, you can choose to drive or to fly. On the ground, speed is limited and distractions are plentiful. Life is about choices. You can choose not to be subjected to the limitations that plague others. You can choose to soar.
As a child of God, you are meant to soar. The Bible compares a believer to an eagle, not to a chicken. Make up your mind to soar. Next time, I will highlight some differences between an eagle and a chicken so you can know what to aspire to and what to get rid of in your life.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
