Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

I recently heard my father in destiny describe perfectly the difference between Jesus and Satan. Lucifer, whose name is means ‘light bringer’ was also referred to as the son of the morning, Isaiah 14:12. The same Bible records Jesus referring to Himself as the Morning Star, Revelations 22:16. The difference between Lucifer, whose name was reduced to Satan, accuser and adversary, and Jesus, whose name is forever exalted in Heaven and on earth (Philippians 2:9-11) is traceable to their understanding and acknowledgement of structure and order. We can see it in their respective recorded communication. Lucifer said:
Isaiah 14:13-14, NKJV
… ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’
Meanwhile, Jesus, the Son of God, who is God, Himself, still acknowledged the structure put in place by His Heavenly Father and said this:
John 14:28, NKJV
You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.
And we know the outcome of both parties. Lucifer was demoted for his failure to recognize structure, Isaiah 14:15-20. Jesus is seated at the righthand of the Father, reigning in majesty.
Beloved, if you will experience Heaven on earth, it begins with you learning to recognize the structure and order of things. Put God first. If you are married, honor your spouse. Give honor to whom honor is due. Honor your boss, pastor and so on. Recognize that all authority comes from God. Lucifer gave up the atmosphere of Heaven because he failed to understand and accept that Heaven is an atmosphere of structure and order. May you never make such a destiny-reducing error, in Jesus’ name.
