Isaiah 52:1
Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments,
o Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean shall no longer come to you.
Beloved,
It is only when you are awake that you are able to put on strength and the beautiful garment of
righteousness. The results we desire needs the participation of God and man. God has his part
to play but you also have your own responsibility.
God may have broken the ties holding men bound but there are also mental ties we need to be
free from, Isaiah 50:4-5. The plan of God for man on earth is for him to live as a spirit without
the restrictions of the physical body. But when man fell, the restrictions caused man's spirit to
be deadened to the reality of the spirit realm.
Man was created to be a spirit being who was supposed to learn human experiences, but the
fall of man caused him to become a human being who is now having to learn spiritual
experiences. Beloved, the adverse effect of being in this state is spiritual deadness and it can be
seen in these ways:
Spiritual ignorance
Misinterpretation
Fear
Vulnerability to satanic agenda and circumstances.
