Luke 9:28-29 NKJV
Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray. [29] As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.
Beloved,
To become a better you, invoke the agency of prayer and keep improving on it. Get to the place where prayer is your second nature. Once you have given your life to Christ, prayer is essential, not only to maintain your walk with the Lord, but also for the transformation you need to become everything God has called you to be.
Prayerlessness is one of the major issues in the body of Christ. Either people become to proud to pray or too lazy to do so. Either way, prayerlessness is a sign of an impoverished soul and a weak spiritual life. Both of these will keep you from becoming the best you that you can be.
Prayer changes you because the more intimacy you have with God, the more in tune and aligned you become with Him and the more you reflect His glory.
Beloved, if you want to see a change in your life, begin to take your prayer life more seriously and see a change in your life.
