Proverbs 4:20-23 NKJV
[20] My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. [21] Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; [22] For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. [23] Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
God’s Word is Spirit and Truth. It has the power to heal and deliver a man form his infirmities.
John 4:46-53 tells us the story of a man whose son was ill, and he went to beg Jesus to heal his boy. Jesus shows us what we must be concerned about in this story. The man wrongly assumed that Jesus had to be physically present to save his sick child, but that was not necessary.
The bottom line in this story was for the boy to live; it didn’t matter to Jesus how the healing should be administered, and He simply chose the most convenient one to Him at the time which was to declare in verse 50 in spoken words the boy’s healing.
When Jesus declared that, the Bible recorded that the man believed the word Jesus spoke to him; he put his trust in what Jesus said, not the diagnosis of the hospital. Because he did this, he received the healing he sought for.
To confirm again that God’s word is potent and dependable, he asked his servants when he got back home at what time the child became better, and when they told him, the Bible recorded that he remembered it was that very hour when Jesus declared the healing that it took place. This further solidified the faith of he and his entire household.
Beloved, putting side-by-side doctor’s report and God’s word similar to what you have heard and need divine healing for, which one will you choose to believe? I will like to remind you again, the earth, including your entire being is made by the word of God. So if anything appears to be broken or damaged in your body, you will need to fix it with the same material it was created from.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
