Proverbs 4:20-23 NKJV
[20] My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. [21] Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; [22] For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. [23] Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

There are 2 channels in which divine healing can be received:
- The channel of the word of God.
- The channel of the laying of hands.
We discussed the power and importance of using God’s Word to set things in order. I want us to look at this gospel:
Luke 4:40
“When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them”.
God’s word includes examples and reference points. See this one where
Jesus, Himself spoke:
Mark 16:17-18
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 1they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Jesus desires that we govern ourselves exactly as He would have done if He were to be in our shoes. This stems from believing what God has said over your particular matter; especially when it comes to sickness. Do you know how to know what God has said concerning your experience with sickness? To find the word:
- Search the Bible for promises on healing.
- Listen to messages spoken by confirmed men of God on healing.
- Pray and ask the Lord for a word to work with.
Believe the word of God and put your attention to it. Be sure to keep your mind on what God said, not on what you have heard or how you feel. You give attention to God’s word by speaking it out loud. Speak His word to address the situation and to configure your environment. Don’t stop the process even if your current state of emotion isn’t aligned with your kingdom declaration.
Beloved, like that man in John 4:50, choose to put your trust in what Jesus had already spoken. Healing has already been made available to you through His Word- that is the Bible, not the diagnosis of the hospital. Keep doing this no matter the devil’s attempt to interrupt your faith with doubt and distraction. It is only a matter of time before your physical reality conforms to God’s word exactly as He has declared it. May you enjoy the Word of the Lord at work in your life and others in Jesus Name.
