Hebrews 12:14-15 NKJV
“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;”
Beloved,
You must proactively pursue peace at all costs. People can try to offend you, but you have to choose not to be offended and led to anger. Beloved, don’t allow anyone to let you fall short of the grace of God. Commit it to God and move on. Understand that getting bitter is a process. Bitterness doesn’t come into existence over night, but over time. It is like a slow build. If you allow offenses to continually spring up, it will cause trouble. Drop it at the feet of Jesus. Bitterness reduces your fruitfulness. Don’t let your soul be poisoned. Stop it before it stops you.
