Proverbs14:10 TPT
“Don’t expect anyone else to fully understand both the bitterness and the joys of all you experience in your life.”
Beloved,
Today, I want to share with you one way you can live free of worry: stop being unrealistic in your expectations. Expectations are good. They are spiritual magnets that bring help and assistance to you. However, you must be careful that you are not expecting what will not be given.
We see how people can be unrealistic in their expectations in the relationships they are in. I’ve seen people that expect that people in the circle of their relationships should rally around to solve all their problems. A good expectation is that people rise up to solvesome of your problems but not all your problems. It’s unrealistic to think it’s compulsory for them to solve any of your problemsand for that matter solve all of them. Another kind of unrealistic expectation is expecting people to 100% feel your pain. That’s not possible! The understanding of this helps you appreciate the little people do and reach out to God for a complete help. This understanding would also help you not to let people’s disdainfulattitude stop you from expressing your heart of gratitude to God for what He does for you.
May you set your expectations right all the time.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
