DO NOT YIELD – Part 5: From Sin’s Grip to God’s Grace

Galatians‬ ‭2:1‭-‬2‬a ‭NKJV‬‬
[1] Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and also took Titus with me.  [2] And I went up by revelation

Beloved,
Last time, we discussed questions we must ask ourselves in order to decide if we need to chart a new path in life. In our opening scripture, we see that 14 years had passed and after receiving revelation, Paul started another course. It is wisdom to check in with the Holy Spirit daily about the course we are taking. It is not only the destination that matters; the path and process that are critical to our destiny too.

In addition to the aforementioned, you must desire to give expression to the reason for your existence and pursue your prophecies. Isaiah 9 talks about “the zeal of the Lord” as the prophet tells us all God will accomplish as He was helping His children get back on course. We are made in His image. There is something about zeal and passion that helps us to get things done. Beloved, do not lose your passion for fulfilling destiny and enjoying your walk with God. If you have yet to develop it, ask God and trust Him to help you.

When it comes to charting your new path, you must develop a Spirit-guided mindset; this kind of mindset will always be superior to earthly or worldly mindset. The Spirit of the Most High God is without limit. As you remain in Him and He remains in you, you spirit is strengthened. You are empowered to do what your flesh cannot do and think what your mind could never perceive ordinarily.

Let’s look at an example:

‭‭Acts‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Before Christ, some of these same men could barely catch fish. After Christ and the gift of His sweet Holy Spirit, see what they were empowered to do? May you enjoy the outcomes of your zeal for the Lord and empowerment of His Spirit like never before in Jesus’ mighty name.

I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.

I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
