Deuteronomy 23:5
Nevertheless, the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam, but the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you.
Beloved,
Obsession is a persistent, patterned, unreasonable, and unnatural manifestation of oppression, 1 Samuel 16:14-23. The difference between oppression and obsession is that one is baseless and explainable, the other is abnormal and persistent.
Never let life pass you by. You must be sensitive to your life and take notice of things that are forming a pattern in or around you. The more the attack of the devil is gaining ground in your life, the more ignorance is setting in and the more you are becoming surrounded by darkness. And never forget that the devil works in darkness.
Examples of obsession includes:
- Physical things.
- Food.
- Fashion.
- An ungodly lifestyle.
- Worldly culture. Every kingdom has its own culture. The way we dress, our language, and so on, is influenced by the culture we subscribe to.
- Relationships outside God.
- Mood swings.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
