1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
Beloved,
As a child of God, you have an inheritance. As I write to you now, over 2.5 billion dollars of unclaimed money and inheritance has now become property of the state of Illinois, alone. Why? Heirs have no understanding or information about what’s rightfully there’s. What a tragedy!
But your life does not have to end up in tragedy. In this series we are unpacking how to discern what is yours from your Maker.
But first- you must know what is in your family, both naturally and spiritually for you do have a right to that flow if you desire it. The book of 1 Samuel 1 bears the story of a priest, Eli and his sons who the Bible informs us were priests. A few verses in, we learn that his sons, though priests, did not inherit the same virtues.
Meanwhile in Acts 21, verses 8 and 9 reveal the daughters of Philip the evangelist who inherited the gift of prophecy, living righteously.
What distinguishes these two instances? Revelation. The devil is good at hiding what is ours whenever he can. You must also know what is yours is in the hidden places of life. It’s your job to must find the hidden place. It’s your job to also be able to pray- let there be a release of everything I don’t know about, that belongs to me, in Jesus’ name. Let there be a season of jubilee, in Jesus mighty name!
Beloved, take your time to find out and demand by the Spirit of God, what do you need to fulfill your destiny that is tucked away inside your lineage? In the hidden places of life?
The Holy Spirit is helping you discern in Jesus’ mighty name. We will look at a few more next time.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
