Luke 9:51 TPT
[51] Jesus let nothing distract him from departing for Jerusalem because the time for him to be lifted up drew near, and he was full of passion to complete his mission there.
Beloved,
Last time we started talking about the proper tools with which to face the future. In order to face the future without fear, you need adequately prepare for it. You must be intentional in your preparation for the future. How can this be achieved:
- Regularly pray in the spirit over your future. When you do this, you are speaking mysteries and programming great things you can’t even imagine into your future. The Holy Spirit reveals deep things about your future you had no idea of, 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
- You should also program possibilities into your future by the power of your imagination and desire, Proverbs 16:9 TPT. Think into the future. Future thinkers eventually become future takers.
- Acquire sound knowledge about your future plans, Proverbs 24:13-14 MSG. Be ready for the future you are waiting for. Acquire the knowledge and skills that will ensure you are relevant in the future.
- Like Zacchaeus in Luke 19:1-10, do what you have control over and leave the rest to God.
- Like the wise virgins in Matthew 25:1-13, carry extra for your future. Have extra strength, extra capacity, extra power, and every other resource that you need for your future.
Beloved, do not let the future catch you unprepared. Face the future with boldness knowing that it holds good things for you.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
