Luke 9:51 TPT
[51] Jesus let nothing distract him from departing for Jerusalem because the time for him to be lifted up drew near, and he was full of passion to complete his mission there.
Beloved,
The future can seem daunting for those who do not know what the future holds or those not prepared to face it. For you not to fear the future, you need subscribe to a higher intelligence. You need to have an idea of the future and prepare appropriately for it.
The first intelligence you need is to know that there is a future, Proverbs 23:18 (AMP). Do not live like the heathen who say,
I Corinthians 15:32 NKJV
… “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!”
Do not live for just today. Comport yourself in the reality of the fact that, there is indeed a future.
You must also understand what that future holds for you. Let your expectations be formed by what the word of God says about your future. As a child of God, the future holds good experiences and rewards for you, Psalm 37:37 (AMP), Proverbs 13:9 (NLT). No matter what your past looks like, the future is designed by God to be brighter than your past, Job 8:7 (CEV).
Of course, there are any unknowns in the future. The future will hold the unknown of God’s plans and the unknown of devil’s plans. You must seek after God’s plans for your future and ensure that they materialize. You must also ensure that the devil’s plans do not come to pass in your life. The reality is that the future may bring pain for some. The good news is that most of the things that hold the potential for pain can be avoided. As the Bible says,
Proverbs 6:5 TPT
Rescue yourself from future pain and be free from it once and for all. You’ll be so relieved that you did!
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
