Beloved,
There are many activities that happen each day of our lives, many are general while some are specific. Wisdom demands that we discern and separate what is specific to us and what is not.
The Bible recorded events that are specific to people. For instance, a prophet was specifically sent to the widow at the Zarephath (Luke 4:35-37). The same way, it is not every event that is about the people that are directly involved. The event that happens between person A and person B may not be about either of them, it may be about person C.
A word given in prophecy to person A may not be about him but about person Z. Z should be sensitive to discern that the word is for him and not for A per se.
My father in destiny puts it this way: “when you come before the Lord, learn to identity and separate your personal move from the corporate move”.
Scattered in the Bible are words specifically written for your sake. Be sensitive to find them and live by them.
I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace.
