Genesis 1:28
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Beloved,
God’s desire is that we work together with him to establish His will for and on the earth. In the last couple of days, we have examined some specific ways we can walk in dominion. Today we will continue to examine areas in which we must walk in dominion.
You must live free of sin and ensure your obedience is complete always. Sin is a reducer; avoid it. Each time you engage in sin and afterwards want to do good, the devil will come with condemnation. Then you begin to feel guilty and ashamed, and your zeal and enthusiasm weakens and you are unable to take a step of faith. You can’t continue living in sin and expect to live in dominion.
To live in dominion, you must multiply, Genesis 1:28. This is a command, not a suggestion. If you don’t multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it; you can’t have dominion.
Multiply your strength. When Abraham needed to go rescue Lot in Genesis 14, the Bible explained that He took the servants that were born and trained in his house to execute that rescue mission. He succeeded because he had multiplied.
Impartation is a system of multiplying the grace on one unto many. Moses initially bore the burden of attending to the issues of the entire nation of Israel alone until his father-in-law advised him to recruit those who would help him out. The Bible said he laid hands on 70 elders, and they began to prophecy. One man carried within him the grace to empower 70 men to develop capacity to lead effectively. If you want to dominate effectively you must multiply yourself.
David was a giant slayer, and he trained his warriors to confront and to slay giants too. The wisdom and foresight of this became apparent when giants threatened David’s existence, but he lacked the strength to face them. It was the men he had trained that took up that challenge and overcame. Raise loyal people who are fighters. Let it start from your children. Multiply yourself.
I commit you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you NATIONS. I call you blessed.
