Genesis 21:9-12 NKJV
[9] And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, scoffing. [10] Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this bondwoman and her son; for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, namely with Isaac.” [11] And the matter was very displeasing in Abraham’s sight because of his son. [12] But God said to Abraham, “Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called.
Beloved,
Be careful of a system that you do not belong to. When the opportunity to join Abraham’s clan came for Hagar, she must have thought that she had come to her Rehoboth, little did she know that if you’re not part of a system it’s a matter of time till they will get rid of you.
A lot of Believers are victims of this. We see this play out at workplaces and in the lives of those that migrated to other countries. The opportunities that would entice them to the system would be presented and before they know it, they fall for the bait. The system would use the best part of them and let them go. We may call the system wicked but the truth is that the system knows from the onset that you’re not a part of it.
Be careful of the system you thought you’re a part of while in the real sense, you’re not part of. Be careful when going into a relationship and when embarking on a career. Let your part and portion be well-defined. Don’t use a good part of your life to service a relationship or a system that will use and dump you. Be wise!!!
