Mark 15:3-5
3 And the chief priests accused Him of many things, but He answered nothing. 4 Then Pilate asked Him again, saying, “Do You answer nothing? See how many things [a]they testify against You!” 5 But Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate marveled.
Beloved,
A position you do not want to find yourself in life is a position where everyone rises up against you. It is a state of betrayal that can be so heartbreaking. We can blame Saul, the King for yielding to the pressure of men but then you never can blame anyone whose shoe you have never walked in. The pressure to compromise is real and the pain it comes with can be so unbearable.
However, if Jesus, who was tempted the same as us can go through it, we also can go through it. In spite of uncountable testimonies against Him, the Bible says: “Jesus STILL answered nothing.” (Mark 15:5). The emphasis there is His insistence to keep silent. Be insistent. Be sure nothing breaks your focus. Reduce your activities and concentrate your effort on the conviction that you are insisting on.
I assure you that if you can insist long enough, God will definitely come through for you.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you blessed. I call you NATIONS.
