Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceptive above all things And desperately wicked; Who can know it?
Romans 12:15
Rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep
Beloved,
Yesterday, we said it is important to know the condition of your heart; today, we will talk about how you can do that. Well, physically you go to the doctor for a check up, and spiritually you go to the scriptures for a check up. You know the condition of your heart by your thoughts, attitudes and actions. Below are some questions for you to consider:
- Is your heart tuned to the frequency of God?
- Do you care about what God cares about?
- Do you find joy in coming into His presence?
- Do you read your Bible daily and obey what it says?
- Is Prayer a two way communication between you and God?
- Are you rich towards God and His people?
- What conversations are going on in your home?
- Are you longing to be with God in heaven?
- How do you truly feel about your Pastor and the family of God?
- How do you respond when others get what you have been praying fervently for?
- How are you redeeming your time, talents, gifts, and resources?
- What destiny are you pursuing, and who is on your destiny team?
These are just some questions to get you thinking because our God is a serious God and he is looking for serious people to partner with. You must watch your heart diligently, not to trust it, but to test it and renew it with the scriptures so that you may be fruitful and remain relevant in God’s agenda on earth. Give the devil no room to operate so you can obtain the prize at the end of your race. May God search our hearts, expose any offensive ways, and lead us to everlasting life.
I commend you to God and to the word of His grace.
I call you BLESSED. I call you NATIONS.
